Lower gear ratio

To change the gear ratio in the transmission of the 1/16 revo and slash.

This will change the gear ratio from 5.04:1 to 9.72:1

This mod is for those who are wanting to use large tires or just want a lot of torque

Sorry this is not a full step-by-step how-to but it is pretty simple.

1) Remove the transmission
2) Open the transmission
3) switch these two gears

Lower gear ratio Tranny

4) and put it all back together

That looks very easy!
May have to try it but I just switched the pinion to the lower one.(speed pinion) Since I'm running the dual packs.

I tried using the high speed pinion and let me tell you you lose alot of speed i am running the stock pinion with 2 batts in series and i didnt have a problem yet its fast i know i am killing 50 mph no problem..

Well i played last night with a mini e-revo that had 2 2S batts and let me tell you the slash was fast until the batt was dieing the guy with the revo had to put a fully charged 3S to keep up with the slash so if you looking for speed the slash is faster but the revo handles better...

Thanks man i am running a single 3S now and wow now im really smoking revos lol....And i never went into thermal yet running a 33 pinion super fast....Jus in my opinion the slash has more speed head to head...
